2011′s Oscar Nominations Announced!

The 83rd Annual Academy Award nominations was announced on Tuesday.

The fight for Best Picture will be a close one with “Black Swan,” ”The Fighter,” ”Inception,” ”The Kids Are All Right,” ”The King’s Speech,” ”127 Hours,” ”The Social Network,” ”Toy Story 3,” ”True Grit,” and ”Winter’s Bone” in the list.

While for Best Actor, Javier Bardem, “Biutiful”; Jeff Bridges, “True Grit”; Jesse Eisenberg, “The Social Network”; Colin Firth, “The King’s Speech”; James Franco, “127 Hours” are the nominees.

Annette Bening, “The Kids Are All Right”; Nicole Kidman, “Rabbit Hole”; Jennifer Lawrence, “Winter’s Bone”; Natalie Portman, “Black Swan”; Michelle Williams, “Blue Valentine” meanwhile are nominated for Best Actress.

“The King’s Speech is nominated for 12 awards. But will it win the top prizes? Which movie do you think will grab the top prestigious prize of Best Picture?

‘Toy Story 3′ Crosses $1 Billion Mark

Disney proudly announced via press release today that the movie ‘Toy Story 3‘ will cross the $1 billion threshold at the box office today.

If that’s the case, it will be Disney’s second film to cross that line this year after ‘Alice in Wonderland‘ earlier this year.

Previously, Disney already have one film that made more than $1 billion — 2006′s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’.
