They won Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals, Best Country Collaboration With Vocals, Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album.

Coldplay, meanwhile won Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals, Song of the Year, and Best Rock Album.

In the Rap category, Lil Wayne won Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

The night was filled with great performance and collaborations with the highlight goes to the performance of Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, T.I., Kanye West and a pregnant M.I.A.
