Vicky Cristina Barcelona is Woody Allen’s latest film about two women (Rebecca Hall and Scarlett Johansson) having a holiday in Spain and fall in love with the same guy, fully unaware that his ex-wife (Penelope Cruz) is about to enter the picture.
Elegy is a movie about an eminent 70-year-old cultural critic and lecturer at a New York college, David Kepesh (Ben Kingsley) who’s womanizing ways were ended by a devastating, all-consuming affair he had eight years before with voluptuous 24-year-old Consuela Castillo (Penelope Cruz), a graduate student and daughter of a prosperous Cuban family.
The movie will make you want to "move it, move it" as it's truly enjoyable whether it's King Julian's humor or the adorable Mort, or Ben Stiller's Alex the lion, the movie is additively funny and only a witchdoctor can cure you after you watch this film.
Max Payne is a little disappointing, the movie is almost like a combination of another video game movie, Hitman with the darkness of Gabriel, an Australian movie about archangels. It has a poor plot which is somehow overridden by the incessant shooting, appearance of Norse mythology, the Valkyries and the incredibly beautiful Olga Kurylenko in an ultra short red dress (the good thing is we’ll get to see her again as the next Bond girl in Quantum of Solace).
The House Bunny is almost like Legally Blonde even though they are different. The film gave Katherine McPhee and Rumer Willis their debut. Pink, blonde and girly movie but it’s nice. So nice.
