Beyonce has postponed her concert in Malaysia yet again following accusations by Islamic conservatives that the show would be immoral. Concert promoter Marctensia Entertainment said in a statement that the new date for the concert will be announced at a later time.
It is learnt that the decision for a postponement was made solely by the artiste “and has nothing to do with other external reasons,” the press release stated.
In 2007, Beyonce cancelled her show in KL and went to Indonesia instead.
Beyonce Knowles said on her website that she will perform in Malaysia in October, despite canceling her show in Malaysia two years ago after protesters threatened to disrupt the concert because of her sexy image and clothing.
Beyonce has decided to make Malaysia part of her ‘I am.’ World Tour and she will be performing on October 25, 2009 in Bukit Jalil National Stadium where tickets are selling from MYR 93 to a whopping MYR 583.

Penang, Malaysia is chosen as the second best destination among "The 44 Places To Go in 2009" by New York Times readers. The top spot is occupied by Beirut, the capital city of Lebanon.
The only other Asian countries in the list are India at 9th, Thailand (Phuket), 15th, The Philippines (Boracay) at 26th and Bhutan at 36th. However, Penang is listed at 22nd according to "Times Recommendations" while Beirut remains at number one.
Penang is a great destination — beautiful beaches, great and cheap food, full of history and is even declared as one of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

But this year, it’s decorated with gingerbread men, elves and snowmen — a delightful sight indeed.
