Real life Furby is discovered in Indonesia. A creature called a pygmy tarsier, believed for the eight decades to have been extinct have been rediscovered in Indonesia by Texas A and M University professor Sharon Gursky-Doyen in August. It is one of the world’s smallest and rarest primates — weighing about 2 ounces (50 grammes). It resembles Furby and the 1984 Hollywood movie, "Gremlin".

An interesting fact — they can turn their heads around 180 degrees. Scary.
