The Burj Dubai (Arabic: ??? ??? for “Dubai Tower”) is a supertall skyscraper currently under construction in the “New Downtown” of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Upon its completion, it will likely be the tallest man-made structure, of any kind, in the world by a wide margin, surpassing Taipei 101 (tallest building) and Sear Towers (most floors). The final height is classified due to some competitions.
At the moment of writing, The Burj Dubai is 507.3m and has 140 floors, already surpassed both Taipei and Sear Towers for the records, however, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), will not recognize its world-record height until it is completed.
