Stephen Gately, member of the boy band called Boyzone was found dead on Sunday while on holiday in Majorca with his long-term partner Andrew Cowles. The cause of the death was unclear as there was no suicide note or evidence of any drug use or excessive drinking.
Boyzone had 17 top five singles and four number one albums before splitting in 2000. Although they made a comeback tour in 2007, their recent 19-date Better tour was deemed a flop as the band played to half-filled arenas.
According to The Associated Press , Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide through the finding from the LA County coroner which could mean criminal charges for his doctor. Dr. Conrad Murray for administering a mix of powerful drugs to treat the pop star’s insomnia hours before his death.
The homicide ruling was based on forensic tests that found the anesthetic propofol combined with at least two sedatives to kill Jackson, an unnamed law enforcement official .
The ruling does not necessarily mean a crime was committed. But the finding does help prosecutors if they decide to file criminal charges against Dr. Conrad Murray who was caring for Jackson when he died June 25 in his rented Los Angeles mansion.

David Carradine, the star of the 1970’s television series “Kung Fu” is found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand. The “Kwai Chang Caine” actor who has appeared in over 100 films was found dead with his body naked, hanging in the closet in the luxurious Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel in Bangkok, according to MSNBC.
Swine flu has killed at least a dozen people in Mexico City on Friday and the authorities have closed schools, museums, libraries and theaters in the capital of Mexico.
The new virus which combines genetic material from pigs, birds and humans in a way researchers have not seen before. The flu has also sickened at least eight people in Texas and California, though there have been no fatalities in the U.S. yet.
“We are very, very concerned,” World Health Organization spokesman Thomas Abraham said. “We have what appears to be a novel virus and it has spread from human to human … It’s all hands on deck at the moment.”
There have been many reports about actress Natasha Richardson’s death with some media uncertain of the death and pulling out their articles. New York Post reported that Natasha Richardson was taken off life support by her family.

Richardson is married to film star Liam Neeson. Besides Neeson, she is survived by two sons Michael, 13, and Daniel, 12. The family statement said the sons were "shocked and devastated by the loss."
Richardson fell while taking a beginner’s skiing lesson in Quebec, north of Montreal. She had not been wearing a helmet.
Richardson’s last acted in "Wild Child", a 2008 British film about a rebellious American girl (played by Emma Roberts) who is shipped off to a strict English boarding school by her father. Richardson played the school principal, Mrs. Kingsley.
Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-800 crashed as it tried to land at Amsterdam’s airport on Wednesday. There were 134 on board the plane including 127 passengers and seven crew members according to the airline.
More than 50 people are injured and around 30 ambulances have come.
The impact of the crash is so great, the plane broke into three pieces.
“He was bum-rushed by 200 people,” co-worker Jimmy Overby, 43, told the New York Daily News. “They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me. They took me down too. … I literally had to fight people off my back.”
Even when officers who were called to perform CPR on Damour were stepped by the shoppers until police shut down the Valley Stream store. Damour was then taken to nearby Franklin Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:03 a.m.
Wal-Mart called the death “a tragic situation,” in a statement released Friday. “The safety and security of our customers and associates is our top priority.”
