After revealing Kristin Kreuk as Chun Li, Capcom has confirmed other cast members including Neal McDonough as M. Bison, Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas as Vega. The movie is one of numerous projects Capcom has in the works to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the famed arcade classic. Street Fighter IV, the latest addition to the franchise, will be released in Japanese arcades this summer.

Kristin Kreuk will play Chun Li in the new Street Fighter movie. Yes, you heard it right, the lovely Kristin Kreuk who plays Lana Lang in the series Smallville will be Chun Li. Who will play Ryu or other characters?

The new Street Fighter movie, namely, Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li will be directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, the action movie starts filming in Thailand in March, 2008. 20th Century Fox will distribute the live-action feature based on Capcom’s video game. The movie is focused on female fighter Chun-Li and her journey for justice.
