The highly anticipated, exclusive photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s newborn twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon have finally been sold.

People magazine has won the bidding for the North American rights while Hello! magazine gets the international exclusive. It was reported People and Hello! magazine have paid a combined of $14 million for use of the images, with all proceeds going to charity.

The photos are scheduled to appear in Monday’s new issue of People and will debut on People.com on Sunday, 7pm EDT (Eastern Daylight Time).

Angelina Jolie gave birth to a son and daughter Saturday at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France, according to her doctor.

“The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly,” Dr. Michel Sussmann said on Sunday. “Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well.”

Sussmann confirmed the Nice-Matin newspaper report that Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.

The twins are the fifth and sixth children for Jolie and partner Brad Pitt, who are already parents to Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh.

Matthew McConaughey’s girlfriend, Camila Alves gave birth to a baby boy at 6:22 p.m. in Los Angeles on Monday night, the first child for the couple, his rep told People magazine.

The baby weighed in at 7 lbs., 4 oz.

“They’re so happy!” a close pal of McConaughey and Camila Alves, his girlfriend of two years, told People.

Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban on a Monday morning in Nashville, according to PEOPLE magazine.

Sunday weighed 6 lbs., 7.5 oz. according to the spokesman, Paul Freundlich.

“Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side, and mother and baby are very well,” said the spokesman, who added that the couple were “delighted” to make the announcement.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to turn their twins into the most lucrative newborns ever by fielding bids upwards of $25 million for the exclusive rights to the first pictures of the “Brangelina babies”.

The couple sold the pictures of their first natural child, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, for nearly $5 million and donated the money to charity.

The twins are already honored by the Mayor of Nice even before birth.

According to reports, if they are girls one baby will be given the middle name Marcheline, and the other will be called Jane after Pitt’s mother.

August 19, 2008 is the anticipated date for the twins.

Skateboarder Tony Hawk and his wife Lhotse welcomed their first child, a daughter at La Jolla, California, according to Hawk’s representative.

Kadence Clover Hawk, born at Scripps Memorial Hospital weighed in an 8 lbs., 8 oz., and measured 21-inches long.

Hawk also has three sons from two previous marriages.
