Apple has signed several new deals to bring iPhone to Asia. The latest licenses to sell the iPhone have been granted to SingTel in Singapore, Bharti Airtel in India, Globe Telecom in the Philippines and Optus in Australia.
Sadly, Malaysia is not in the list just yet.

The tagline for iPod touch is however sounds a little lewd — "Now there’s even more to touch." LoL!

Recently, Apple released its long awaited iPhone in the United States and everyone’s talking about it, digging stories about it and probably, many are fantasizing about having one (I have to admit I’ve been drooling at the photos of Apple iPhone as well). I mean, what’s the fuss with Apple iPhone? First of all, it’s not a 3G phone, which means no video calls nor high-speed Internet access or live sport game on your phone. Secondly, by all means, it doesn’t have the best digital camera a phone can have (think Carl-Zeiss Cybershot). The Japanese has got 3G phones that are far more superior than Apple iPhone years before Apple iPhone was released. Most Japanese are probably laughing and say “Apple iPhone? You gotta be kidding!” While most people in the world are gearing towards 3G, the Japanese are moving towards 4G! Companies like NTT DoCoMo are already conducting test on 4G.
What’s the difference between 3G and 4G? 3G’s data rates which are currently 384kbps (downlink) while 4G standard has 100Mbps (uplink) and 20Mbps (downlink)! What about the Apple iPhone? What? LoL!

Apple iPhone is set to hit the store on January 15, 2007 after years of waiting. iPhone will cost $599 for a 4GB model and $649 for an 8GB model and it comes with 3.5 inch LCD screen. The awesome stuff about iPhone? Everything. It is a video iPod, phone, camera, Internet device and uses OS X! It has Google Maps, uses widgets, let you check e-mails, and have Safari browser (like the real Mac OS!) for web surfing! It uses Multi-touch technology and has built-in advanced sensors!

The interface looks flawless

Ghost? Zombie? Nixon? Man, these costumes are old news. This Halloween, why not dress up as something from the geek universe? Christopher Null from Yahoo! Tech suggested the following:
Sony Laptop Battery Pack - What you need: Rectangular piece of cardboard or foam, black paint, a lit cigarette (to simulate the smoking effect). Bonus points for carrying those little poppers that explode when you step on them.
Sony Rootkit-Infected CD - Large circle of cardboard covered in aluminum foil, evil laugh. (Just as scary as the battery.)
LonelyGirl15 (pictured) - What you need: T-shirt or tank top, pony tail scrunchy, tweezers (to pluck eyebrows immaculately), age-diminishing cream, Aliester Crowley books, feather boa, purple monkey puppet, general sense of rebellion and ennui about life.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs - Black turtleneck, blue jeans, iPod, glasses, smug grin.
Firefox - What you need: Fox outfit, lighter fluid, match, sense of irony, fireproofness, legion of geek followers.
The TRON Guy - Awesome TRON bodysuit, pot belly, no sense of shame.
Former HP Chairman of the Board Patricia Dunn - Liza Minnelli haircut, expensive women’s suit, reporter’s telephone records that you have no idea how you got, pink slip.
