Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Wilee, a Columbia Law School graduate who enjoys his freedom to work as a bicycle messenger for Security Courier than a job that requires donning a business suit.

His ex-girlfriend Vanessa (played by the gorgeous Dania Ramirez) has similar thought and prefers riding bicycle than waiting tables.

When Vanessa’s roommate, Nima (Jamie Chung) assigns a delivery to Wilee, little did he know what he has signed up for what will be the ride of his life which he almost gives up half-way. But when Wilee learns that Nima’s package contains a ticket which will enable her son to reunite with her, Wilee determines to finish the job despite the relentless pursue by a douchebag cop named Bobby Monday (Michael Shannon).

Needless to say, Premium Rush is not only engagingly thrilling but equally funny at times.

Director David Koepp managed to create a thriller which explosions and weapons are not necessary for an adrenaline-pumping and high-octane action film.

Overall, this kinetic action-packed non-stop thriller gives great entertainment in a very creative concept.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis in "The Expendables 2"

After a rescue mission in Nepal where The Expendables rescued a businessman and Trench (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is threatened by Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) to accept a mission to cooperate with Maggie (Yu Nan) to retrieve an item from a safe from an airplane that was shot down.

Despite successfully retrieving the item, the team discovers Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) is apprehended by Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme). Although they surrender the item to Vilain, he nevertheless kills Billy and escapes. Maggie reveals the item was a blueprint to an abandoned Soviet Union mine which stores plutonium. The group swears revenge on Vilain for Billy’s death.

The Expendables travel to the mines and spend the night at an abandoned military base. When they are ambushed by Vilain’s army, Booker (Chuck Norris) appears out of nowhere and eliminates Vilain’s army single-handedly.

Unlike the first film, The Expendables 2 has more depths, more actions, more explosives and more violence and occasional jokes. It also gives more screen time to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. Chuck Norris’ appearance is hilarious yet welcomed.

Overall, The Expendables 2 does deliver. The film is not only action-packed, but it’s hilarious and truly enjoyable.
