Tattooed goldfish is the new goldfish. If you think only humans can have tattoos, you’re wrong. Someone has come up with the idea of inscribing tattoos onto goldfish and voila, a major commercial success! Tattooed goldfish has becoming a major demand in Chengdu, Sichuan province in China that prices has shot up to 100 yuan from the initial 20 yuan.

Sorry but this is just wrong. That is disgusting to torture these fish just so someone can have a more colorful pet. I don’t think would be allowed or socially accepted in many other countries.

Honest to God! Just what is wrong with these people?? These are living creatures for pete´s sake. Not just decorations!!! It must be so painful and traumatic for the fish! It makes me so mad!

I think you’ll find that these are not gold fish they are actually called “Parrot fish” and the idea of “Tattooing” fish is not new at all. For example “x-ray tetra” are naturally see through completely but you can get couloured ones which are injected with the flourescent colour.

this is so wrong on so many levels, how would all you people that like this to be grabbed without your permission and somebody just tattoeing whatever they like all over you! you all need to wake up to yourselfs! this is animal cruelty and you need to stop supporting this.

am totally against that , first , the fish has a slime coat on his body that protect them against any bacteria , second , those ” paints ” looks ugly …… that ' s crazy and against animal rights
