Come September 9, 2009, Monopoly City Streets will go “live” and people all over the world will be able to play monopoly the MMORPG way, thanks to Google and Hasbro’s collaboration by using Google Map. Everyone will start with 3 million Monopoly dollars and players can build football stadiums, castles and skyscrapers, according to the UK’s Guardian. How fun is that?

I love Monopoly but this post caught me by surprise. I had no idea they were making an online game…I consider myself a bit of a Monopoly master but Im sure Id get taught a few things play online in a MMORPG environment!
Whoa, that sounds really awesome actually =D I bet this will get real popular =D And yes I bet there will be someone who gets Super Rich, just like in the real world.

Itd be cool if someone actually created a game where real money was played for – kind of like an online casino for Monopoly…might end in tears for a few but it would bring a new spin to the game…
