Dragonball: The Magic Begins also known as New Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenlong is the first live-action Dragonball movie that is ever made before the latest Dragonball movie, Dragonball Evolution. The movie is made in China in 1989 and believe me, it’s way better than the 2009’s Dragonball Evolution.

Magic Begins is definitely better. It’s a lot funnier and it stays true to the source material despite being unofficial and the names being badly translated.
When a poorly dubbed low budget Chinese film from the 80’s ismore faithful to the source material than a new big budget Hollywood film, then something is definitely wrong there.
Hell Yeah! That is so true. who ever created the Dragonball Evolution really Sucks… As if they don’t really know the story from the famous anime.
