Edison Chen who becomes notoriously popular after his sex scandal dominated the Internet in February 2008 has refused to return from the United States to testify at a trial.
His refusal has halted the trial of computer technician Sze Ho Chun, 23, as the prosecution said it would have to apply for a higher court’s permission to obtain evidence from Chen in the US. The permission would allow a Hong Kong judge to take evidence from Chen in the US and assess the credibility of the Canadian-born star.
Is this another cowardice act?
