Third Annual OneWebDay 22.09.2008

OneWebDay

OneWebDay (OWD), held on September 22 every year is like an Earth Day for the Internet. The brainchild behind OWD is Susan Crawford, a law professor at the University of Michigan. OWD’s objective is to focus on a key Internet value, local Internet concerns and to create a global constituency that cares about protecting and defending the Internet.

Check out the One Web Day Wiki to find out about the events near you.

Likewise, if you are too lazy to go out, you can still help to spread the word by joining OWD on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Webcast and read the stories at OneWebDay 100 Stories blog.

So, where will you be or specifically, what will you be doing on OneWebDay?

Well I missed it this year round, did not even know there was a day like this. I think its a great idea, will be adding it to my calendar for next year and will ensure that I mention it on my website. Value and Integrity of the Internet is important for us all.
