
Lately, there are many news that center around sharks and dolphins and why dolphins save human from sharks. The question is why are sharks afraid of dolphins? But, before that, is it a myth or fact that sharks are indeed afraid of dolphins?

Plausible? how did that conclusion came about? It should be confirmed. If they did it several more times, it would have been the same results.
@kljs: yes, it should be confirmed. but what is amazing is that dolphins, such innocent creatures, but yet, they protect humans and other creatures from predators like sharks.
I would say that sharks are afraid of dolphins, instinctively. Maybe in the history of the sharks evolution, they learned that dolphins are of the higher intellect. As far as I remember, dolphins are one of the few animals that can recognize itself infront of a mirror, like us humans, and as well as some apes.
