Last Thursday, September 20, 2007, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s retail podium was opened to the public amidst having many shops still under construction. Pavilion KL, a 7-storey shopping centre and 1.37 million square feet of retail space comprises of world’s most exciting retail brands.
Hermes, Montblanc, Escada, Coach, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bally, Tiffany & Co., Versace, Omega, Joan & David, Banana Republic, Ted Baker, DKNY, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Polo Ralph Lauren are among the tenants. Other tenants include Parkson, Tangs, Golden Screen Cinemas, Red Box Plus, True Fitness, Times The Bookshop, Mercato, Starbucks, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, KFC, Nando’s, Carl’s Jr, Pizza Hut and many more.

When completed, the Pavilion will be linking to Bukit Bintang and KLCC with its pedestrian bridges.
Meanwhile, Gourmet Emporium reminds me of Siam Paragon’s Gourmet Market and the restaurants on the same level – restaurants, mostly fast food, surrounding an upscale food court. We shall see when it’s fully opened. For now, let’s get the two dozen donuts from J.CO Donuts & Coffee for only MYR 34++ (saving you about MYR 20++) while stock last.
