Seven new wonders of the world were chosen in a global poll released on Saturday, 07.07.07, to replace the old seven wonders. The pyramids of Giza is the only surviving structures from the original seven wonders of the ancient world.
The Great Wall of China, Rome’s Colosseum, India’s Taj Mahal, Peru’s Machu Picchu, Brazil’s Statue of Christ Redeemer, Mexico’s Chichen Itza pyramid and Jordan’s Petra are the new seven wonders of the world.
