What happened in Montreal, Canada was the most dramatic race in Formula One. The numbers below said it all:
4 safety cars.
2 cars received black flag - Giancarlo Fisichella and Felipe Massa.
2 cars received 10-second penalty - Fernando Alonso and Nico Rosberg.
1 broken leg - Robert Kubica had a bad crash and broke his leg, but he’s in a stable condition.
13 out of 22 cars finished the race.
3rd place - Alexander Wurz started 16th, finished 3rd.
4th place - Heikki Kovalainen started 22nd, finished 4th.
1 great take over - Takuma Sato outpaced and took over Fernando Alonso with just 2 laps remaining.
And of course, 1 Formula Grand Prix win after just 6 starts in Formula One - Lewis Hamilton.
Awesome race.
