Play The Sims 2 On Your Mobile!

Lately, I’ve been hooked to The Sims 2 on my mobile phone whenever I commute or wait for my friends.

I have to say even though it is not as good as the PC version, it is quite addictive. However, it takes quite forever to be able to reach a new level, i.e. you have to get to know a person until “Friends” level before it opens up to let you know a new “Sim” person. It is the same for getting a new job and upgrading your home.

The main purpose of the game is to get your Sim a better life, which include a better job with higher pay, a better home and so on. The routine part is to make sure your Sim to meet the needs which include “Food”, “Toilet”, “Sleep”, “Wash/Shower”, “Communications”, “Entertainment”. If one of these become “red”, your Sim won’t go to work or do any activity which include communicate with friends, working out or upgrading himself / herself. Therefore, it is important to make sure these bars are maintained at a high level at all times. Likewise, your Sim needs to go to work in order to earn your “Simoleans” (Sim money) so you can buy the necessary equipment and to upgrade your home. As your Sim improves his / her skills, he / she will get a better job with less working hours and thus able to do more things around the house. Like the PC version, your Sim will have a choice to talk, gossip, being friendly (i.e. Hug, Peck, Clean Joke, Dirty Joke), being romantic (i.e. Flirt, Cuddle, Kiss, Sleepover) and being in a relationship (i.e. Move in, Move out, Propose, Divorce). And at all times, besides the “Need”, your Sim will have a list of “Wants” in which you can take your time to fullfill. Sometimes, your Sim would want to tell a Dirty Joke, sometimes he will want to divorce. So, it’s kind of funny albeit fun.

Overall, the game is fun and is worth the MYR 8 I have paid for. Maybe like the game, we all should always remember to fuel our needs (Food, Toilet, Wash, Sleep, Communications and Entertainment) instead of working too hard every single day. Guess that’s a great lesson to learn from a game. And don’t remember to get “Friendly” with your friends (i.e. Hug, Peck, Tell a clean joke, Tell a dirty joke) every single day.
