The Irish boy band which gained fame in the 90’s is to reunite. Following Take That’s footsteps, Boyzone is planning to release a new CD and a world tour.
Ronan Keating, Stephen Gately, Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch performed in January 2000 for the last time.
Louis Walsh, the ex-manager of the group, is also to reunite with the boy band. He said: “All the lads are really excited about it - they are going to be huge again and are going to have a long career. I guarantee they’ll be number one with their first record.”
Ronan Keating, Stephen Gately, Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch will each receive £1m for the comeback.
The Boyzone is to perform in September in a concert with the Spice Girls for Red campaign.
