The Black Dahlia is actually a nickname for actress Elizabeth Short , who was a victim of a murder at age 22. The murder remains unsolved. It is the most notorious unsolved murder in California history.
In this movie, Scarlett Johansson stars as Kay Lake, the girlfriend of Lee and the woman who steals Bucky’s heart, and not as Elizabeth Short (thankfully), so we’ll get to see more of Scarlett Johansson.
